So, I am reverting this blog as letters to Yeji, while still serving the purposes of recording Yeji's milestones.
It's been awhile since I posted, so this will *hopefully* be a long post, but this going to be dependent on when you wake up this morning from your nighttime sleep.
A lot has happened in the last two months.. which is also the reason why things have been a little crazy for me to remember to post and record milestones.
1.) We decided (very quickly) to move in with Grandma and Grandpa (Daddy's side) to Springfield. We did this so we can have help take care of you and all your future siblings, so that Grandma and Grandpa can see you more, and our work commute will be 30 minutes shorter, which means we can see you for an hour more a day! Mommy was worried that you would be asleep by the time she came home from work, or she would have to cook dinner, and not be able to spend time with you. But Grandma and Grandpa have been helping a lot to cook, clean, and care for you! They love you so much, it makes me so happy! Annji, who has been neglected since you came home, but still needs lots of love too, also gets lots of love from Grandma and Grandpa!
It must have been a God-directed decision, because we found a lovely family to rent our house before we even put it on the market! The new youth pastor at your church, and his wife and 1 year old son are moving in! We are so happy that our house can be such a blessing to another Christ-centered family. We hosted many meals, gatherings and small group meetings at our house over the last three years. We will miss our first home a lot, but will love living with Grandma and Grandpa, and will be good to have more time with you, even when we go back to work!
2.) Mommy got a knee arthroscopy (a small knee surgery) to clean up the tears in her meniscus and cartilage. She has a week ACL. It's been exactly two weeks since the surgery, and it's still swollen and bruised. I'm trying to do my physical therapy exercises and ice/elevate twice a day, but it's been difficult because I want to spend time with you, and get settled in our new home. But it helps that I still see the physical therapist twice a week, so I might get in trouble if I don't do the exercises and get the swelling down!
3.) Grandma (Mommy's side) is in town for the summer, and she loves so much too. We also helped Great-Grandma move into a new apartment, where other older grandmas and grandpas live.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Two days ago we had your four month Wellness Doctor's Visit.
You were 13lbs 4 oz (50th percentile), 24 inches tall (50-75%, you are tall, like Mommy!), and your head was 40cm around (50-75%).
Everyone keeps saying you are so small, feminine, and cute.. but you are average! You love nursing on Mommy, and often refuses the bottle unless Mom is out of sight, and out of hearing and smelling range. You will cry and spit out the bottle nipple until you are really hungry. But we've been trying to practice eating with the bottle once a day! Mommy loves nursing you too, but she wants to make sure you will eat once she goes back to work!
Right after the Wellness visit, we also started sleep-training (upon the Dr's recommendation). The first night, you were wiped out from your vaccinations, so you slept all night without waking. You also slept most of the following day, and you were cranky, and not yourself all day. You had a slight fever, and just wanted to be held by Mommy. I think Grandma (M) was a little hurt, but that's okay! Last night you woke at 3am, expecting your usual night time feeding, but Mommy didn't come. Mommy was sad she couldn't come, and ended up coming once to check on you since you did have a fever, but when I picked you up and held you, you didn't seem to have a fever anymore, so she put you back down. You were crying for about a total of an hour! But you went back to sleep, and seem to be sleeping in. It's almost 8am now, and you usually wake up between 630-700.
Now for the pictures!
I haven't posted in over two months, so this will be super long! I will try not to wait too long between posts next time!
After your first bath (not including sponge baths). You love baths!

Annji is always near, watching over us!
Family pic on Mother's Day!
You loved the Sakurabloom sling when you were three months and younger, you always immediately fell asleep in it. Now that you like to move your arms and legs a lot, you like to be in the I-angel.
This was one of the first times on May 22, at about two months, we put you in the Bumbo! You still get tired after awhile, and start to slump.
We visited Great Grandma (M) for the first time!
We also visited Stenwood (my old school), to visit the family of the kids I used to tutor. They loved you, especially the littlest sister.
Grandma and Grandpa (D) are so proud of you, and love on you so much! Here is the outfit that Sumin Gomo sent us!
Daddy's girls!
Evie came to visit!
We went to visit Jamie Oppa, he loved holding you, but then you farted and pooped on him, and he wanted you off.
Tying out our new swimsuit!
So tired after our first swim!
Close-up!
Out for Mommy's Birthday with Aunties that love holding you!
At your baptism!
A pic during one of our many walks. We also went to Stroller Strides Tysons classes everyday for awhile, but then Mommy's feet and knees started to hurt!
We did a photo shoot for Daddy, for his Father's day present! Fight the Power!
Here you are, getting better at the Bumbo!
Daddy made Jordans for you!
You hate being strapped down in the carseat.
We went swimming with Daddy! I think this was your third time at the swimming pool.
You usually wake up after I put you down for the night, or in the middle of the night.. and stare directly into the monitor. We love watching you play by yourself. You like to look at the light on the monitor, and play with your hands.
About three weeks ago you started grasping and holding onto things we put in your hand. Here you are holding some of you toys. We helped you by placing it in your hand.
Mommy colored her hair! You still recognized her!
You hate being in the carseat, but in this selfie pic, you were A-Ok!
It's so sunny, we like putting a sunhat on you when we go outside.
Mommy got knee surgery, but Annji has been a good big sister and helping out.
Here you are in the cutest denim polkadot outfit ever!
Taking selfies with Mommy after tummy time, and reading books is fun!
You love touching your feet now!
In the last two weeks you've been more aware of Annji, and watching her and smiling!
Dressed and stylish for church! Although you don't look too happy.. but I think that's because it was so sunny.
I wanted to post a photo of you getting your first taste of an orange, but the video is too big, and I can't upload it. We were at Todai buffet after church. Grandma (M) wanted to feed you ice cream, Mommy said no, but said Ok to an orange. Your curious look and grimace while sucking and licking the orange was so cute!
Mommy carefully cutting your tiny nails without hurting you! At the doctor, we have to take your clothes off so that you can be measured, weighed, and the Dr can check you up! So happy while showing the Dr what you can do during tummy time!
At your 4 month Wellness Appt, you got two shots and one oral vaccination. This was right before your first shot, before you knew what was coming.
Mommy comforted you after your first shot, but couldn't pick you up because you had to get your second shot.
Here you are after your second shot, screaming bloody murder!
You were cranky, had a slight fever, and slept a lot for the next 48 hours.

Here is Mommy putting on your clothes and comforting you after your set of shots.
